Esteban was born and raised in San Jose and started djing with Virtual DJ. Once the 20-day free trial expired he bought his own equipment and started spinning with a pair of CDJs. Later when he got his hands on Serato, he switched to turntables and has never gone back to CDJs. He has been spinning for about 3 years in the Bay Area prior to transferring to UCSD. Upon joining the DVC, Esteban immediately started spinning at events such as Meet the Beach and The Jump-Off at Round Table.
