Phillip "DJ Philly" Le was born in San Diego, California. At the age of thirteen, he took his birthday money and bought two turntables and a mixer. He practiced for 12 hours a day but still lost a bunch of dj battles before he got his drivers license. Got his drivers license and lost some more. In 2007 he finally won his first battle and went on to play countless gigs all over town. His music style combines scratching, beat juggling, and party-rocking to take listeners beyond the conventional. DJ Philly is currently only 19 years of age, so you can expect to hear much more of him once he can actually get into a venue.
