I am copying the steps to upload your mixes from the email sent out by our webmaster "Jeff." Happy Uploading, and Enjoy!

Hey everybody!
You can now host your mixes on the djclub webserver for all to enjoy! Right now mixes will just be displayed on/downloadable from your Profile page on the main site but we're working on madness like streaming, download counts, embedding in the forums AND MUCH MORE!
You'll need to register on the site if you haven't already. Go to http://djclub.ucsd.edu/ and click on "FORUMS" on the left. From there, there's a "Register" link at the top. You'll also need to get your account flagged as a DVC Member. This will let you post on the message board and upload mixes. Send me an email and I'll take care of ya.
You also probably want to edit your artist profile before you start uploading mixes. From the DVC site click the "Edit Profile" link to the right, then check the options on the left for "Artist Profile". Enter your information and go nuts!
HERE IS HOW YOU UPLOAD YOUR MIXES:
Step 1: Fire up your favorite FTP client--I'd recommend filezilla for Windows and CyberDuck for OSX--both are free. You'll then need to connect to the DVC server and upload your mix. Here's the information you'll need to enter in the program:
Hostname: djclub.ucsd.edu
Port: 21
Username: your forums username
Password: your forums password
These programs are both pretty intuitive, but if you're having trouble let me know and I can help!
Step 2: You'll need to let the site know you've uploaded your mix. Go to http://djclub.ucsd.edu/ , make sure you're logged in, then click the "Import Mixes" link to the right. You'll see a list of all the mixes you've uploaded. Click one. Then, enter your DJ name and title for the mix and click "Import"
STEP 3: THERE IS NO STEP THREE
This has been tested quite a bit over the past week but there might still be problems--if you run into any shoot ME (not the list!) an email and I'll look into it.
Enjoy!

Is there any way to delete mixes that have been uploaded with errors (ie broken links)?
Offline
Right now shoot me an email or otherwise lemme know and I'll grab it. That option is in the next release of the site which might unfortunately have to wait until Winter break.
The link was broken because the site craps itself if the mix's filesize is too big. I have a workaround in place now, but it's temporary, I'm looking into why this happens and how to fix it.

unfortunately 'something a little more relevant' is too long for a username so you're going to have to pick something else

Do the mixes need to be a specific file type?
