swine flue: who gave it to all of us?
right now, me and yon are way sick and have very similar symptoms, including:
- chronic fatigue
- cough
- chest congestion
- fever
was anyone still sick with similar symptoms in the past week? if so, how long did it take for you to get over it? i feel like absolutely shit right now.

hahah, I got it right now and am dealing with it. It hit me real hard yesterday, but i felt it building the day before. I feel like I'm already improving though. Course I've spent the past 24 hours literally doing nothing but sleeping...
Truth is everyone I know is either sick right now or knows someone who is.
As far as the DVC is concerned, I can think of a name that may have been the point of origin, but it does no one any good to point such a finger :-)
Just deal with it, you should be over it within a week. That seems to be the consensus.

I'm in the same boat as you Jerry, Friday hit me the hardest, take some Tylenol and drink lots of gatorade/water. That's what got me through the weekend.
I like my bass like I like my sumo wrestlers....

i pretty much did exactly that and slept for the past 36/48 hours.. feeling a lot better now, but i had so much grading to do this weekend! FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU--
edit: and goddamnit.. i was so coked on meds that i spelled it as "flue"? man FUCK my LIFE

I'm certainly better now. I didn't get shit done this weekend though because of it. I still got a runny nose and some fatigue, but the major body aches and dizziness and sore throat are largely gone.
What a horribly timed flu'e'. Right in the middle of the f'in quarter.
